All our dermapen practitioners have recently attended post grad training with Dr Andrew Christie (The International Trainer for Dermapen World)  for the Dermapen4 MasterClass AND the Advanced Dermapen Training course. 

Your Silk Dermapen4 practitioners knows what she is doing, she know the dermapen4 device, she knows skin like the back of her hand and she knows how to push that world leading device to get you the best results you possibly can. 

Below is just a guild-line as all skins are different, as are all goals.

Pigmentation        4-6 treatments        2-4 weeks apart 

Rejuvenation:       4-6 treatments        4 weeks apart

Acne Scarring:      6 treatments            6 weeks apart

Stretch Marks       4-8 treatments        4-6 weeks apart

For optimal results, a scan and plan with your dermal therapist first is a great way to start. We can then work on a skin care program that works for you and your skin. 

Typically, you will see results after your first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post treatment care.

No, Dermapen 4 treatments are not painful. There are some spots that we might work on that can be a little tender, and of course, some clients may find it a little sorer than others.

A topical anesthetic cream is sometimes offered with needling but we do not recommend this as it hinders the benifits of the treatment.

If you do find it a little sore, there are a few tricks we can do to help with the sensation, but generally it is a pretty painless prcedure.

Generally no, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to head straight back to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. Application of a breathable camouflage will seal skin and cover any redness for an immediate return to getting on with living!

Your practitioner will advise you to what products you can use on your skin for the first 48 hours then you can go straight back to using your prescribed O Cosmetics or G&M Neuro
