Finally, we are looking after our men. We've always had treatments for the gents in our lives be we have not had a section specifically just for the lads. So here it is.

From cool brows to your hands feet, face massages and waxing, we’ve got you covered. Silk Skin Spa is all about getting the best treatments and products out there in an environment where it is professional yet relaxed and fun. Your skin

It has taken us well over a year to find a skin care range for men that ticks all the boxes, let me tell you, with all the product out there you would think it’s easy but no. They are either cheap and nasty, stupidly complicating or way to simple to make a difference. Using good quality skin product will put an end to shaving rash and most skin irritations, you do not need to put up with red sore skin from shaving anymore.

 

Waxing 

At Silk, like most salons we use both strip and hot waxes. The difference is the quality of wax we use. Getting an awesome wax is not up to the skills of your therapist alone. Our hot wax we use is top of the range, designed to remove stubborn and short hair. 

We follow the strictest of hygiene standards which includes never re-dipping spatulas….ever! 


Our strip wax system is called PhD. Unlike roller systems where the roller rolls wax onto your skin and then straight back into the tube of wax, and back on to the skin again, the unique PhD applicator system has a one-way flow straight through the disposable applicator, there is no back flow of wax or skin cells into the tube, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.

If you are prone to ingrown hairs and pimples post waxing, there are ways to minimalize and even stop this totally, just let us know and we will make sure you get a smooth wax and smooth skin.

Brow work 

Nobody needs Grandad brows. Eye brows frame your eyes and a great brow designed to your face and eye shape is hard to beat.
